MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying: 

GS-05 

Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service performing the following:NOTE: This experience must be reflected in your resume. 

OR 

Education: Successful completion of 4 years (120 semester hours or 180 quarter hours) of education above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is a prerequisite and was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts for verification. 

OR 

Combination: A combination of specialized experience and college education as described directly above, that total 100% when combined. First, determine total qualifying experience as a percentage of the specialized experience described above; then determine the education as a percentage of the college education described above; and then add the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Only college education in excess of the first 60 semester hours may be used in this calculation. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts for verification.

Typing Proficiency: In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirement, this position requires the skill of a qualified typist. You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute based on a timed 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
